Two pieces of important information about the wreath pick-up on Saturday. 1) Time: The pickup window will be from 11:15 - 3:00pm 2) Location: We are going to use a new location for the wreath pick-up. It is 35 Parkwood Drive, here in Hopkinton. There's a large open lot that the wreath truck will be able to deliver the wreaths. The pick-up times will be from 11:15am to 3pm. This should give people an ample window to pick up wreaths based on their Saturday activities. Why the change? Because it will allow us to have the wreaths delivered earlier. Unfortunately, the church has an event on Saturday, and we could not get in there until 1pm at the earliest. That would push thing back too far in the afternoon for pickup. Where is it? It's located off of Main Street as you are heading out toward 495. From the center of town, heading west, take a right at the light (just before the two gas stations) on to Lumber Street Extension. Then go straight into the Parkwood Complex (I believe there is Caliper Life Science building on the right as you go straight on to Parkwood Drive). The parking lot we're using is at the end of the road on the left hand side. 3) For those scouts who did not hit the goal of 25 wreaths, we've purchased extra wreaths to sell at Colella's. There will be a sign-up sheet at the Pack Meeting for 1 hour or 2 hour blocks the weekends of Nov. 26/27 and Dec 3/4. It's expected that those boys who did not meet the goal to sign up for at least one block. If there are any questions, please email me or call. Fran 774-278-1480 |

Save the Date for the Annual Pack 26 Family Movie Night! RSVP via Punchbowl at http://www.punchbowl.com/parties/2387622-pack-26-family-movie-night New and prospective scout families are welcome! The cost per vehicle is $20, the pack will pick up half the cost. If you would like to attend, please mail a check payable to "Pack 26" for $10 to: Sheila Farrell, 77 West Elm St, Hopkinton. The theater is expecting us, so arrive early (at 6:30 p.m.) so we can all park together (the box office opens to the public at 7 p.m.) Just let them know you are with pack 26. We do not know the movie title yet, but will send this along closer to the date. The early movie is always rated PG or G. If you can stay up that late, there is also a 10:00 pm movie at no extra charge. For more info, please visit http://www.mendondrivein.com/NowShowing.cfm. We'll have hot dogs and paper goods for everyone and ask that each family bring their favorite tailgating dish to share and bring your own beverages. Please choose an item from the Pot Luck List to bring! After we eat, the kids can play ball or other games before the movie starts (be sure to bring your glove and a tennis ball). It gets chilly in the evening, so bring sweatshirts and blankets. Don't forget the bug repellent! Lawn chairs are also a good idea. It should be a good old-fashioned family fun night out at the drive in - Hope you can join us! Questions? Sheila Farrell 508-544-9847 sasfarrell@hotmail.com |
